On National Day
Yesterday was hot,hot,hot!
I met Jason @ Liang Court to have breakfast.
Along the way...

Clear blue skies, I heartx but yesterday is a tab too sunny.

Walking through The Central

I think this bridge is called Read Bridge. I THINK.

Where people sit along there @ night and get emo. Daytime is just like a picture.

A small outlet selling Oz wines. Would be a good place to chill if the river is not that smelly.

Indochine and their '兵马俑'. Very much related to what we are going to see later.
After looking at my photos, Jason said,"很有空hor,迟到了还take pictures?"
It is such a waste not to take pictures along Clarke Quay when there is few people right? Give another 5 years or so, who knows the same things might remained?

Hotcakes for breakfast. I swore I ordered Hotcakes with Sausages but it didn't goes that way. Well..One less patty, one mark healthier?
After our usual nonsenses with Jason who just need to make fun of most things that I do,we carry on our journey to Audiohouse.
Long queue of people buying LCD Tvs. For what it's worth, it might be a steal but LCD or not, Tv is just another appliance.
Went to Kinokuniya and didn't came out with anything. But I love bookstores...givesme a good hiding feeling and I always imagined starting a beautiful, romantic encounter from there.

Friendly looking plushies on the rack.

Many 'unsuitable for the young' magazines over there. Mainly from US. I wonder what's written inside.I mean, how unsuitable can it get? For the price of those magazines, my curiousity died along with it.
Was it called Park Avenue or UE Square or what? The U-lu and boring mall nearby?

They have a very nice looking bistro there. The image is shaky cos' I was on the elevator and dare not just take the pic standing outside.I risk not a rushing from the staff.
Bought a small Naraya (think it's for makeup) pouch for $4.90 outta spontaneity. With me, what's new?
Took a long busride to Jurong East. The bus ride brought me to certain areas of the west which I have not seen before.

Think this is the Pasir Panjang (No?) district already. Some resorts looking condo and damn,it looks damn nice loh. But I don't think I would fancy living there. First the place is like so unaccessible and bound to get big sun throughout the year and the place looks pretty lonely.
Once a HDB gal, forever one.
You don't want to miss out the comfort of loitering in the neighbourhood,do you?

Random.

You might have came across this very old houses before. Very old.
I just enjoy taking pictures like this randomly. I keep thinking if you don't remember now, you might not be able to see the same thing in time to come. Jason is mainly paying attention to the TV on bus. Olympics just don't touch me.

I still prefer Mr Bean.
We went to IMM ,grab a few things from Daiso and back to Lot 1.
Lot 1 is undergoing some lil' renovation and I was very sure that they must have one of the worse cinemas around in Singapore. To add on, theirs is Shaw. The only Shaw that I would want to watch my movies if the one at Lido, and the only impressive one in Lido is the ultra big theater.
We have nothing else to watch but the Mummy. I am never too keen in the Mummy and Ben Fraser is not exactly my cuppa. I only like him in George of the Jungle. (Unless now you are telling me that he ain't George of the Jungle??)
When we were about to step in the theater, I was like.."Wha sie...I'm so gonna show others how does Lot 1 cinema looks like!"

That's theater 1 and 3 for you. Think there are only 4 theaters in total. Look like some lobby where you would go to pee, right?
But holy cow, when I entered from the door, I was like...WHOA! You know some people said you shouldn't judge a book by its cover? I think they are referring to scenario like this.
I can't take picture of the theater but I can tell you it's pretty big lah. But again do not hold high expectation of your sitting experience. I mean...afterall,this is Shaw we are talking about.
The best seats gotta go to Cathay's.
Movie wise is pretty ok lah. I would just give it a 2.5 stars. Actions with not much plots and their actions are not even that impressive. But of cos' if you like Ben Fraser and his deep, deep voice AND is a fan of the mummy, you should just go watch it.
Ps.I think Indiana Jones is better! Maybe it's Harrison Ford.Hohoho.
Went to Bt.Panjang for dinner. It took us a while,ok..it took me a while to decide to dine at Delifrance.

The bistro is EMPTY when we were there. I thank Jason for booking the bistro. Lol.

They served us baguette first. SCS butter is still one of the best butter, I feel. Maybe it's something from childhood.

My tuna sandwich. I just don't understand why would the menu indicate so many varieties of bread and the only ones that they served are the normal Croissant & Baguette?
Light rye and 9 cereals, the other more healthier ones all don't have?

They have alot of mushrooms in the soup!

Jason's chicken steak something.
I didn't take a single bite so I can't tell you how it is.
And our dessert of the night.

I JUST LOVE how the HOT CHOCO flow outta the small moist CHOCO CAKE!
Ok..the chocolate could be even better if it is slightly less sweet but this gotta be my favourite dessert of all time!!

The last photo of the day. Happy Singapore day.
=)
